AnushOS is built from open source components whose original licenses are fully respected and preserved.

Most software in AnushOS — including the Linux kernel, GNU toolchain, and core utilities — are licensed under various open source licenses, such as:

We DO NOT claim copyright or trademark to any of them. All licenses must be respected for the packages that are installed and available. It is your responsibility to check all licenses before installing or using any software on AnushOS. License info can be found through apt by running apt info packagename. The original code written specifically for AnushOS — including documentation, tools, and system configuration scripts - as well as the fully compiled system and any "derivite works" AnushOS has created — are released into the public domain using The Unlicense.
